In Memory of

Richard Miller-Robinson.

Why ‘le petit singe’? – we are fun, we excite, we intrigue, we love, we irritate, we dance, we laugh, we care, we share – we are little monkeys, we are soulmates forever.”

— Henry Miller-Robinson

Richard was a passionate, warm hearted and generous soul who wished for fairness and equality in all aspects of life.  He travelled extensively during his lifetime and was touched by the many people and places he encountered along the way.   Continuing to share Richard’s drive and passion is vital to build a legacy that upholds these values and fund ideas that were special to him.  ‘Le Petit Singe’ was born in his memory to support projects around the world that are dear to his heart.

The foundation is presently in the stages of being legally incorporated.

There are five initial causes to benefit from the foundation, the first two relate to the tragic circumstances of Richard’s death:

  • Funding research into undiagnosed heart conditions.

  • Supporting people through the bereavement process when there is a sudden loss.

The remaining three causes are inspired by some of Richard’s life experiences:

  • Helping with environmental protection work for the Icelandic environmental agency Umhverfisstofnun.

  • Supporting education and artisan weaving in Myanmar.

  • Supporting Tibetan refugees.

Henry wants to ensure the foundation encapsulates Richard’s soul and the joy he created by reaching out and connecting with people in all walks of life.  Sharing with and caring for those in need, supporting people through hardship and keeping his spirit alive.
